Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and has a new opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Administrator in Surrey, BC at our Head Office. This is a hybrid role, however we are open to remote candidates anywhere in Canada.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $49,600 to $62,000. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As an Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Accounts Receivable team, supporting daily accounting operations through accurate and timely transaction processing and reconciliation. You will work closely with branch, operations, and finance teams to ensure postings are accurate, variances are resolved, and service standards are consistently met. Interested in learning more?

You are a naturally tech-savvy individual who excels at troubleshooting issues and leveraging your analytical skills to find effective solutions. Proficient in MS Office environments and ERP systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new applications Post-secondary training in Accounting/Business Administration, with 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable role

Once here, you'll:

Post and reconcile client payments accurately and on time, including in-branch End of Day transactions, Global Payments, and cash/cheque deposits

Reconcile Acturis postings to bank deposits and Global Payments reports, investigating and resolving variances Follow up with branch staff on posting discrepancies and support timely corrections Process electronic client and commission deposits, external finance company payments, and set up internal finance plans in Acturis Complete daily Acturis tasks and support AR operations, interdepartmental workflows, and team projects as needed
