Accounts Receivable & Collections Department

PAY: $20-$23 per hour STARTING - Based on experience

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable AP/AR Specialist to join our team! This role is responsible for managing outgoing payments, processing incoming payments, and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts and resolve billing discrepancies to facilitate payment
• Monitor incoming payments and apply them accurately to customer accounts
• Assist with processing credit applications for potential new customers, including gathering required documentation and supporting credit evaluations
• Communicate with vendors to maintain a good-standing account status and ensure invoices are received in a timely manner
• Process and verify invoices for accounts payable ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
• Prepare and issue payments for vendors

Qualifications:

• Excellent people skills and multi-tasking capabilities
• Thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Computer skills in Excel and Word
• Available to work scheduled hours of the day
• Team player that demonstrates leadership skills and performs other duties as necessary to help with day-to-day operations
• College degree in Business preferred
