Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant to join their team in a full-time role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting and office administration skills in a stable, team-oriented environment. While previous Accounts Payable experience is preferred, the company is willing to train the right candidate with strong office experience and a willingness to learn.
This role combines approximately half Accounts Payable responsibilities with a variety of administrative and general office duties, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and being a key support member of the office.
Job Duties:
- Match vendor invoices with receiving reports for accuracy
- Enter vendor and miscellaneous invoices into the accounting system
- Maintain Accounts Payable records and aging reports
- Process check runs and online vendor payments
- Assist with month-end Accounts Payable processes
- Run billing for multiple company divisions
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers
- Respond to customer service emails and route inquiries appropriately
- Stamp, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and General Office functions
- Assist with order entry, billing, filing, labels, and other administrative projects
- Support the Office Manager and leadership team with various office tasks

Requirements:
- Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred
- General administrative or office experience required

- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed
