Chase Staffing is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Cartersville, GA area. The Accounts Payable Specialist works in a fast-paced office environment and is responsible for processing and reconciling invoices while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all assigned duties. The Accounts Payable Specialist will support daily accounting operations by handling PO and non-PO invoices, freight invoices, statement reconciliations, and vendor communication. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch
Pay Rate:$20 an hour
Temporary Position – Approximately 1 Year
Fully In-Person Position
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process approximately 200–300 invoices per week
• Process PO and non-PO invoices accurately and timely
• Perform 3-way matching
• Process and reconcile freight invoices
• Complete statement reconciliations
• Assist with GRIR clearing activities
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• Experience with PO and non-PO invoices required
• Freight invoice experience required
• 3-way matching experience required
• Statement reconciliation experience required
• SAP experience preferred
• GRIR clearing experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable speaking on the phone with vendors and internal teams
• Bubbly personality and positive attitude
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
