Lynden Incorporated is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to work as part of our SeaTac based team. In this role, you will operate in a shared services environment handling Accounts Payable (AP) functions across 20 Lynden Companies. Our team works closely with Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, Tax, and our sister companies. With a remarkable history of no layoffs in over 40 years, we offer you a stable and rewarding career that will be an adventure!What you will be doing:Process high volume of accounts payable invoices, including invoice matching to purchase orders (3-way match)Understand the chart of accounts as it relates to AP and enter general ledger coding for non-purchase order invoicesUnderstand the tax treatment of AP invoicesValidate data captured during the Optical Character Recognition process and modify the data if requiredProvide quality customer service in resolving supplier issues, invoice discrepancies, statement reconciliations, and other supplier requestsSort, prepare, batch, and scan invoicesCommunicate effectively, both verbal and written, with suppliers, operations, team, and managementWork closely with other departments including purchasing and treasury to resolve questions and issuesDownload credit card purchase data into Excel, and review and modify general ledger coding for upload to the financial system What we need from you (minimum requirements):Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experienceAssociates of Arts in Business AdministrationProficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.Preference if you also have:ERP experience a plus, Workday preferred. Your work schedule:  Hybrid schedule with minimum 3 days onsite at our corporate office and 2 days offsite. Live within commuting distance to SeaTac, WA.  This position is not eligible for relocation.Available during core hours of 9am – 3pm Monday – Friday.Occasionally may be required to work hours outside the normal schedule. Perks of working at Lynden Incorporated: The base wage range for this position is $25 to $27.50 per hour.
