ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain accurate records – process invoices in a timely manner Fortify vendor relationships by – Communicating clearly and consistently with vendors Advocating on behalf of vendors to the Elmington team Taking ownership of paying invoices on time Handling disputes Reconcile accounts Reclass items through journal entries Update utility tracking logs for each project Process checks and online payments weekly Prevent fraud through our Positive-Pay banking system Issue and file form 1099 at year end Manage our credit card software
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent Some experience in an administrative or accounting role is preferred Associate degree in accounting or business administration can be beneficial
