Accounts Payable Specialist

Arkansas Talent Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a telecommunications company in Jonesboro, AR.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can manage invoice processing, vendor communication, payment tracking, and month-end support in a fast-paced communications environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process, review, and code vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, statements, and questions.
• Prepare check runs, track due dates, and maintain accounts payable records.
• Assist with month-end close, account analysis, and 1099-related support.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely approvals and smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Sage Intacct and other accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work well in a team environment.
• Experience in telecommunications, utilities, or another high-volume service industry is a plus.
