Accounts Payable

Samson, the worldwide leader in high performance cordage, is seeking an Accounts Payable, who will perform the day-to-day processing and monitoring of accounts payable transactions in an accurate, detailed manner. Responsible for practicing a high level of business ethics and professionalism and adhering to safety and quality guidelines in support of Samson strategy and core values.

This is an in-person position located in our corporate headquarters in Ferndale, WA.

• Customer-focused and able to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. 
• Comfortable with managing processes that may be complex in nature. 
• Able to critically analyze workflows and make recommendations on changes in approach, concepts, and the design of solutions. 
• Responsible and able to effectively manage your time and prioritize how you manage your day. 
• You can keep customer and business information confidential. 

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately process supplier invoices.
• Process electronic payments and check runs.
• Maintain Supplier database
• Manage Corporate Credit Card Program
• File monthly Sales Tax Returns
• Prepare annual Forms 1099.

What You Should Have:

• Education (preferred qualification): AA or AS in Business or equivalent 
• Experience (required qualification): Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.

Compensation

Targeted hiring range: $24 - $26 per hour

Hiring rate will depend on qualifications and experience

Samson has established wage scales for all of our positions, which are based on a minimum and maximum. The targeted hiring rate above is set to allow for employee’s growth within the role.  The full range for this position is $22.12 (min) - $33.18 (max) per hour.
