Our client, one of the fastest-growing snack companies in the U.S., is building a team of driven, collaborative people who thrive in high-growth environments and want to make a meaningful impact. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and elevate the AP operations from their Bryn Mawr, PA headquarters. This is a high-visibility role for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with leadership, process improvement, and operational excellence.
You’ll oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations, mentor a growing team, strengthen vendor partnerships, and help scale systems and processes to support continued company growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
- Improve AP workflows, policies, and controls to increase efficiency and scalability
- Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
- Build strong vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of payment inquiries
- Monitor AP metrics and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
- Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests
- Drive automation and best practices within AP systems and processes
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of accounts payable experience, including 3+ years leading teams
- Strong understanding of AP operations, accounting principles, and internal controls
- Experience managing high-volume AP environments in fast-paced organizations
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities
- Ability to prioritize effectively and lead through growth and change
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience is a plus
