Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and process accounts payable data with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain professional communication with vendors, customers, and internal departments through phone and email correspondence.
• Process invoices, issue payments, and ensure timely payment of obligations.
• Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable email inbox.
• Print, organize, file, and maintain invoices and expense documentation.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain invoices, credits, and supporting documentation as needed.
• Process all Central Billing payments.
• Receive, review, and distribute drop-ship invoices for assigned locations.
• Verify invoice payments related to UPS accounts.
• Enter and code invoices and expenses in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Review purchase orders and invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies, pricing issues, or receiving errors before invoice entry.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor accounts in good standing.
• Reconcile company credit card and bank statements.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain accounts payable records in compliance with document retention policies.
• Verify financial data and ensure accurate maintenance of accounts payable records.
• Reconcile processed transactions by reviewing system reports and validating account balances.
• Demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude while adapting to changing business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a large organization.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable principles and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Automotive aftermarket or auto parts industry experience is a plus.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude required.
