Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily accounting operations in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. In this role, you will help ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, maintain organized financial records, and support overall financial accuracy across the organization.

What You’ll Do as an Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and proper approvals
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and efficiently
• Process vendor payments, including checks and company credit cards
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist with audit preparation by organizing and providing documentation
• Support annual 1099 reporting activities
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely payments

What We’re Looking for as an Accounts Payable Clerk:

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach
• Accurate data entry and typing skills
• Team player with a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable or finance support experience
• Experience with invoice processing or data entry roles
• Familiarity with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP)
