The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospital located
in Manchester, TN, and we are looking to hire a detail -oriented and organized
Accounts Payable Clerk to join the accounting team.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
In this role you are required to have a solid
understanding of accounting principles and hands -on experience with accounts
payable processes.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/div>
- Process accounts and incoming payments
in accordance with company policies and procedures<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Execute daily financial transactions,
including verifying, posting, and recording accounts payable data<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Prepare bills, invoices, and bank
deposits<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to
ensure accurate recording of bills and payments<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Monitor vendor payment agreements and
ensure timely payments<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Assist with month -end closing tasks<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Maintain accurate records of financial
transactions<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>Required Qualifications & Skills<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/div>- High school diploma or equivalent
required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Previous accounts payable or general
accounting experience preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Prior healthcare, medical office, or
hospital accounting experience preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Working knowledge of accounting
principles and accounts payable procedures<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Strong attention to detail with
excellent organizational and time -management skills<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,
with advanced skills in Excel preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Ability to handle confidential financial
information with accuracy and professionalism<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Experience performing account
reconciliations and resolving discrepancies<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Familiarity with accounting systems and
ERP software<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Understanding of month -end closing
processes, vendor management, and payment processing<\/span><\/span>
