We're looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

As an Accounts Payable Associate, you'll play an important role in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and helping keep financial operations running efficiently. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly support teams across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile monthly supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Build positive working relationships with vendors and internal branch teams.
• Prepare cheque, wire, and online bill payments.
• Reconcile and post corporate credit card transactions.
• Support the bank reconciliation process.
• Maintain organized electronic financial records.
• Help ensure timely, accurate, and efficient accounts payable operations across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary Accounting Certificate or Diploma.
• 2 - 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a medium to large organization or multi-company environment.
• Strong ERP and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
