Position Summary: 

As part of our global finance transformation, we are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our regional operations. The role focuses on managing company’s outgoing payments and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.

What you can look forward to as a Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Process incoming supplier invoices, including validation, coding, and posting in the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., VAT, local fiscal requirements) across the supported regions.
• Monitor and trigger invoice verification workflow while working closely together with Purchasing.
• Prepare payment proposals while working closely together with Treasury.
• Manage vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable (e.g., closing of subledgers & reconciliations).
• Perform account maintenance
• Collaborate with the global SSC team to continuously improve AP processes and support automation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation, archiving and audit trails for all AP transactions.

Your Profile as a Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a multinational company or SSC environment.
• BA or BS degree in accounting, business administration, or economics, or bookkeeper certificate required
• Familiarity with regional accounting standards and US tax regulations
• SAP, S4HANA experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• 3 – 5+ Years of Experience
