Job Description
Build the future with us
Are you driven by operational accounting and wish to contribute to the raison d’être of a company that aims to ensure its clients feel confident and secure about their future? As an Accounting Technician, you will play a key role in the operational accounting activities of Dealer Services, with a strong focus on banking follow-ups and reconciliations.
Are you passionate about operational accounting and refuse to do things simply “because they have always been done that way”? Do you enjoy deeply understanding what you do and contributing to continuous improvement? Join a rigorous and committed team, where collaboration, complementary expertise, and a pleasant work environment are at the heart of daily operations.
This position represents a great opportunity to showcase your skills and fully leverage your potential within a caring and reliable organization. Here, people and their development are at the core of our priorities, fostering an environment conducive to collaboration and innovation.
What you will accomplish with us
As an Accounting Technician, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
• Perform banking and treasury follow-ups: bank reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, follow-up on outstanding items, and timely resolution;
• Carry out and take ownership of account reconciliations (bank and other operating accounts), document analyses, and maintain clear audit trails;
• Record various transactions in Oracle ERP, including journal entries as required (month-end, adjustments, reclassifications);
• Execute defined internal controls, identify anomalies, and quickly escalate situations requiring deeper analysis;
• Prepare supporting documentation, respond to questions, and produce required reconciliations in the context of external audits, regulatory requests, and internal requests.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
• Is recognized for strong rigor and a sense of accountability;
• Demonstrates curiosity and the ability to challenge existing ways of doing things with a solution-oriented mindset;
• Has 2 years of experience in operational accounting;
• Holds a college diploma in accounting or administration;
Why you will love working with us
• A work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence;
• A healthy, safe, equitable, and inclusive environment where potential can be expressed and developed freely;
• The possibility to work in a hybrid work environment, supported by flexibility and access to inspiring and innovative workspaces;
• Competitive benefits: Flexible group insurance, competitive retirement plan, share purchase plan, vacation and wellness and personal development days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, ergonomic equipment program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and more!
