Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor near West Chester, PA. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting activities, and providing guidance and development opportunities for accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting operations, including account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury activities, fixed assets, prepaid and accrued expenses, and related accounting functions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Review accounting transactions and financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight to accounting staff.
• Contribute to annual audits, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and other key financial initiatives.
• Support internal controls, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional certifications.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Experience with internal controls, risk assessment, and process improvement initiatives.
