Join Our Team as an Accounting Supervisor!

Location: Murphys, CA
Pay: $34.00 - $55.00 per hour

InSight Manufacturing Services is looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to help keep our financial operations running smoothly. This isn't your typical accounting role—you'll be a key player in supporting our growing manufacturing business, partnering with leadership, mentoring staff, and helping drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same, but here's a look at what you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting our day-to-day accounting operations.
• Reviewing and maintaining accurate financial records and journal entries.
• Managing general ledger activities and account reconciliations.
• Preparing financial reports that help leadership make informed business decisions.
• Developing and managing budgets and assisting with financial planning.
• Monitoring internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting best practices.
• Supervising and mentoring accounting staff while helping them grow professionally.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Collaborating with departments across the company to support business operations.
• Working with auditors and other external partners when needed.
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all financial matters.

You'll play an important role in helping our team make smart financial decisions that contribute to the success of our company. 

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Analytical and comfortable working with numbers and financial data.
• A problem solver who enjoys finding better ways of doing things.
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experienced in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Excited to contribute ideas and help improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong math, data entry, and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is a plus!

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based within our manufacturing facility in Murphys, CA. You'll regularly work with employees across departments and occasionally spend time in production or warehouse areas supporting inventory and cost accounting functions.
