We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for proper and prompt processing and recording of accounts receivable, special education finance reporting, and complete and accurate personnel data to ensure financial data integrity in accordance with state and federal regulations. Assist with budgeting, cash monitoring, annual financial audit, and other reporting. Position must maintain confidentiality of all employee matters and all duties must be performed in accordance with state and federal regulations. Contract: 260/261 days
Requirements & Qualifications
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and moderate experience in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in school finance preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Starting Salary Range Salary: $65,000 to $75,000
Benefits package: Tier 1 Coordinators Benefits Package, which includes access to Medical, Dental, Life, Long-Term Disability Insurance, and 403(b), plus Earned Safe and Sick Time and Minnesota Paid Leave, as required by law.
