Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform the packaging operation to ensure the product meets the specifications providing efficient storage and shipment

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Collaborate across departments to research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Prepare weekly check runs, electronic payments, and other disbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and outstanding balances.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices and adherence to company policies.

Accounts Receivable

• Support invoicing, payment application, and customer setup.
• Assist with the analysis of credit balances, write-offs, and account adjustments in accordance with company policies.

General Accounting

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and analyses as requested by management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Maintain & update vendor database.
• Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting Department. 
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience performing bank reconciliations and researching reconciling items. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. 
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset.

Salary:

• $24.00- $26.00/ a hour

 Shift: 

• Monday- Friday 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM
