Position Overview:
. Under the supervision of the Treasurer/Director of Admin Services, performs duties that include, but are not limited to recording and accounting for all receipts received by the Conference and/or Board of Pensions; completing weekly accounts payable functions; and the monthly reconciliation of accounts. The position’s work is also directed by the Controller in other general accounting procedures, reporting and analysis as the need arises.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Technical Expertise:
- High aptitude with Accounting and Reporting software.
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, and Outlook
Behavioral Expertise:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skill required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle detailed information with accuracy
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with customers of all levels of benefit knowledge with diplomacy
- Ability to work with confidential data
- Must be committed to service of other people and view working in this environment as a ministry to others
Education/Experience:
Associates Degree in relevant area, e.g., Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college with a minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience required, four (4) or more years strongly preferred.
