Novinger, Ball, & Zivi, a Knoxville-based Certified Public Accounting Firm, is looking for an Accounting Services Supervisor for their Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) Team. Responsibilities:
- Client support and training for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop; includes (but not limited to) accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll set-up and processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, class tracking and journal entries within QuickBooks
- Supervise CAAS staff
- Review assigned accounts maintained by CAAS staff
- Review payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and tangible personal property reports
- Assist tax staff with trial balance clean-up work when time permits
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What you Need to Succeed:
- Expert in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- General ledger experience and significant accounting knowledge
- Familiar with financial statements in QuickBooks and running reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills while being able to prioritize, work efficiently, and meet time budgets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to take initiative and problem-solve
- Public accounting and/or previous CAAS experience a plus
- Ability to pass CAAS assessment
