Job Title: Accounting Services Manager (Remote)

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Our client is seeking an Accounting Services Manager to lead a portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality financial reporting, and manage a remote accounting team. This is a fully remote role designed for someone who thrives in a flexible environment, enjoys client interaction, and brings both technical expertise and leadership to the table. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients by overseeing financial reporting, guiding decision-making, and ensuring audit-ready results, while mentoring a distributed team and driving process improvements.

What you’ll do

• Own a portfolio of clients and oversee full-cycle accounting
• Deliver accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams and boards
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Lead client relationships and facilitate regular meetings
• Partner with auditors and support audit processes
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements
• Mentor, review, and support a remote accounting team
• Support onboarding of new clients and establish scalable processes

What you bring

• CPA (or equivalent) with 5+ years of progressive experience
• Proven experience in a client-facing environment
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines remotely
• Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to senior leaders and boards
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with QBO, Sage, or similar tools
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
