We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist with to join our Accounting Charleston Team at Hendrick Automotive Group- The nation's largest privately held automotive group and a seventh-time #1 leader in U.S. online reputation!
As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for stocking in cars for new, preowned and dealer trades.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:
- Processes bills for vehicle purchases
- Posts to the general ledger vehicle purchases
- Verifies that payments are processed for vehicle purchases and transfers
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
- Participates in required training
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
- Complies with Company policies and procedures
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking for:
- Associate degree preferred (or equivalent training and experience)
- We value the right combination of education and hands-on experience
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a business environment
- Billing, dealership experience or DMV experience in a fast-paced setting is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
- Strong organizational skills are essential—you'll be juggling multiple priorities
- Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Eager to learn our dealership management system and other specialized software—we'll provide training!
- This role requires reliable attendance and flexibility
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
