Job Title: Accounting, Pricing, and Operations Intern

Overview: IBTCI is seeking an Intern to support the Accounting and Operations departments. The ideal candidate will be assertive, work with a sense of urgency and display a strong work ethic. Flexibility is also key as this position may help support any of the pricing and accounting functions. Please note this is a part-time administrative position; 28 hours per week in the office for up to 3 months. This position is based in our Vienna, VA office with telework as prescribed by the company (currently two days in the office). The ideal candidate will be available to start as soon as possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting
� Assist in preparing budget and budget narrative.
� Assist in processing expense reports.
� Assist in analyzing solicitation guidance.
� Assist in preparing solicitation representations and certifications.
� Assist in collecting contractual and budget related information from subcontractors.
� Format and organize cost proposal documents per the solicitation guidance.
� Other duties as assigned
HR, Security, and Operations Support
� Assist with administrative HR tasks, including organizing employee documentation, onboarding materials, and compliance-related records.
� Support visa processing, work authorization documentation, travel-related paperwork, and country registration requirements, as needed.
� Assist with research on country-specific operational requirements, including registration, security, travel, visa, and compliance requirements.
� Support coordination of documentation needed for international assignments, field travel, or project mobilization.
� Provide general administrative support to Accounting, Operations, HR, and Security teams.
� Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
� At least 6 months of work experience in a high-volume, fast-paced office or administrative environment.
� At least 3 months of Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
� Strong attention to detail and ability to organize documents accurately.
� Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
� Strong oral and written fluency in English required.
� Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
� Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow instructions carefully.
Education: At least 2 years of college education in International Affairs, Economics, Business, English or other related area.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
� Previous administrative experience preferred.
� Mastery of work processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
� Excellent writing, research and organizational skills.
� Experience in Google Workspace.
Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment. Currently the company is allowing for hybrid work in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. This can be updated by the company.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that required the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: International travel may be required and may include travel to fragile and/or conflict-prone zones.
Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay Transparency Statement:

The anticipated pay range for this position is 16 USD per hour.
