Staff Accountant (and other accounting openings!)
Overview: The Staff Accountant position will be responsible for bank and credit card reconciliation of multiple entities. They will help to prepare and post journal entries and other transactions necessary for reconciling balance sheet accounts each month as part of the closing process. The Staff accountant will assist other team members with questions, issues and take part in problem solving and adjusting or creating processes as needed. They will be responsible for providing detail reports inside and outside the accounting team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as planned.
Reporting Structure: Reports to Accounting Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Bank andbalance sheetreconciliations
- Month end closing process
- Attention to detail on data & journal entries
- Question, research, and communicate inconsistencies in cash, AR, or other balance sheet reconciliations
- Follow established processes and communicate when changes are warranted

Required Technical Knowledge:
- 3+ years' experience in full accounting cycle
- General Ledger
- Cash Flow/Payments
- PayrollJournal Entries
- Sales Tax Reporting
- Month End Reporting
- MicrosoftExcel – Intermediate
- QuickBooksOnline–Intermediate
- Sage Intact – Basic
- Bachelor’sDegreein Accounting(or equivalentlong-termexperience)
- Sage Intacct (like to have)
