We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic group supporting locations across the Twin Tiers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a team, building strong processes, and playing an important part in the financial success of a fast-paced organization.

As our Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee all accounts payable operations, ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, support dealership leadership with financial planning, and help maintain strong accounting controls across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, train, and support Accounts Payable Clerks across multiple dealership locations
• Develop and maintain efficient accounts payable procedures and internal controls
• Review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and proper approval
• Oversee payment processing including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and quickly resolve discrepancies
• Assist leadership with cash flow planning and payable forecasting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close processes
• Work closely with Sales, Service, Parts, Payroll, and Title departments
• Review freight bills and audit vendor charges when needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and accounting best practices
• Help create a positive, organized, and professional work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in an automotive or multi-location environment
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications
