We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Accounting Manager to join our regional finance team supporting multiple Southern California brands.

The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, experience managing month-end close processes, and the ability to partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and reporting accuracy.

What You’ll Do
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with regional leadership and brand teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger
- Reconciliations
- Invoicing
- Expense management
- Lead and complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare accurate and timely internal financial statements and reporting packages
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, internal controls, and company financial policies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues proactively
- Manage state and local tax filings, including sales/use tax and licensing compliance
- Support external audits including financial statement audits, insurance audits, and 401(k) audits
- Assist with implementation and optimization of accounting systems, financial processes, and reporting tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operational leaders to improve financial visibility and decision-making
- Utilize QuickBooks, ServiceTitan ERP, Excel, and other financial systems to drive efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting experience
- CPA designation or CPA-track candidate
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with ServiceTitan or ERP/accounting systems
- Multi-entity or regional accounting experience

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to efficiently organize and prioritize diverse tasks and responsibilities
· Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
· Ability to quickly understand systems
· Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
· 2-4 years’ experience in accounting roles, Public Accounting, and/or CPA a plus
· QuickBooks Desktop experience, a plus
