We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Accounting Manager to join our regional finance team supporting multiple Southern California brands.

What You’ll Do

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with regional leadership and brand teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations including:
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • General Ledger
  • Reconciliations
  • Invoicing
  • Expense management
• Lead and complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare accurate and timely internal financial statements and reporting packages
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, internal controls, and company financial policies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues proactively
• Manage state and local tax filings, including sales/use tax and licensing compliance
• Support external audits including financial statement audits, insurance audits, and 401(k) audits
• Assist with implementation and optimization of accounting systems, financial processes, and reporting tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operational leaders to improve financial visibility and decision-making
• Utilize QuickBooks, ServiceTitan ERP, Excel, and other financial systems to drive efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience
• CPA designation or CPA-track candidate
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop
• Experience with ServiceTitan or ERP/accounting systems
• Multi-entity or regional accounting experience
