Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Manager to join our team. This position plays an important role in the day-to-day accounting operations of the Club and works closely with the Controller to ensure financial transactions and records are processed accurately and timely.The Accounting Manager will manage a variety of accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, member billing, banking activities, payroll processing, and month-end accounting support.Responsibilities include:Posting member payments; maintaining member accounts; member billing.Preparing bank deposits; reconciling daily receipts to the GL.Processing vendor payments; reconcile monthly statements.Employee onboarding; biweekly payroll processing; employee file maintenance.Reconciling GL accounts, researching account discrepancies, assisting members with billing questions, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing tracking reports and assisting with special projects as requested by the Controller.Requirements:The ideal candidate is:Organized, accurate, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills are important, as this position regularly interacts with Club members, department managers, and other employees.We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, maintains confidentiality, works well independently and as part of a team, and enjoys being involved in a variety of accounting responsibilities.
