As an Accounting Manager on Korn Ferry’s Finance team, you will play a key role supporting the Consulting and Digital business segments within a global, publicly traded organization. This role is focused on ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting critical accounting processes, including the month‑end and quarter‑end close. You will partner closely with corporate accounting, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong controls, support compliance requirements, and deliver timely financial insights. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support critical monthly and quarterly general ledger close processes for North America, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and related analysis.
- Manage fixed assets and capitalized software, including creation, maintenance, and ongoing ownership.
- Prepare and maintain schedules for bonus, pension, goodwill, and intangible assets, including quarterly roll‑forward activity.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support special projects as needed.
- Assist with annual audit activities and quarterly reviews, partnering with external auditors to fulfill documentation and data requests.
- Support internal control requirements and processes related to Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with the corporate accounting team on accounting and finance matters.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience
- Working knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, ideally with experience in both public and private accounting environments.
- Strong understanding of accounting operations related to the month‑end close, consolidation, and related processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with SAP is preferred
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a strong preference for a degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline. CPA designation is desirable.
