Summary

Seeking a hands-on, high-impact Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Manager for a 4–6 month consulting engagement. Following a landmark year featuring four acquisitions and a recent investment, our clients finance department is in a "stabilization" phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Readiness: Lead the preparation for upcoming audit fieldwork, ensuring all schedules, reconciliations, and documentation are accurate and timely.
• Accounting Operations Oversight: Review day-to-day transactional work from AP and AR specialists to ensure accuracy and prevent rework for the Assistant Controller.
• Process Improvement: Specifically target the AP workflow; partner with a new AP specialist to implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide "the why" behind accounting tasks.
• Month-End Support: Support the month-end close process in a complex, multi-entity environment following recent M&A activity.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Provide "no-handholding" support for various finance projects as the department stabilizes post-turnover.

Required Qualifications

• Software/Tech Stack: NetSuite proficiency is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in SaaS, Subscription, or Software companies.
• M&A Exposure: Comfort working within complex business structures resulting from recent mergers and acquisitions.
• Technical Skills: Strong focus on Accounting Operations rather than purely technical/policy accounting. Familiarity with Ramp for spend management/AP is highly preferred.
• Background: 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or high-level supervisory capacity.
