What You Will Do (The Role)
As our Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting company expansion, spearheading process optimizations, and providing critical department leadership. You will be the steady hand ensuring absolute accuracy while helping our team navigate future horizons.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee critical workflows including fixed assets, accounts payable, payroll, and complex inventory tracking across our expanding product lines.
- Strategic Reporting & Compliance: Lead robust corporate financial reporting, tax and insurance coordination, and master intricate regulatory compliance and USAC reporting.
- Data Integration & Evolution: Navigate data integration challenges between software platforms and reporting systems to seamlessly prepare the department for future GL migrations.
- Grant & Initiative Management: Direct financial oversight for high-priority, grant-funded growth initiatives that bring vital infrastructure to rural communities.
- Collaborative Leadership: Share critical data transparently across teams, helping leadership make accurate, compliant operational decisions while building constructive relationships across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a deeply competent, collaborative professional who possesses a quiet hunger for continuous improvement and strong interpersonal savvy.
- Education: BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or an applicable business field is highly preferred.
- Experience: Proven progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial management, or general ledger oversight.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive familiarity with GAAP , advanced proficiency in MS Excel/Sheets , and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting GL systems and data platform integrations.
- Compliance Know-How: Demonstrated experience managing regulatory reporting, capital asset tracking, or navigating comprehensive audits (such as USAC).
- Communication Skills: Stellar written and verbal skills to communicate financial complexities cleanly to cross-functional workflows and executive leadership.
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Salary: $60,000 – $90,000/year (Competitive market-based compensation).
