Accounting Manager

Role Overview

SALUS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role is critical in ensuring the organization’s financial health, compliance, and accuracy across all accounting functions. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to manage processes effectively.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily accounting activities in alignment with organizational policies and procedures
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and asset accounting
• Direct financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting processes
• Ensure all financial operations comply with applicable regulations, laws, and accounting standards
• Review financial reports and statements for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of year-end financial statements
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent designation preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
