Overview

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations while providing meaningful financial insight to leadership. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to analyze financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

As Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to help drive operational efficiency and financial clarity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Strategic Insight

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis including variance and trend analysis

• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

• Evaluate operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership

• Partner with department leaders to assess financial performance and resource allocation

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Maintain and improve internal reporting tools and dashboards

• Develop executive-level financial presentations and reports

• Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships

• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards

Accounting Operations

• Oversee general ledger activities and month-end close processes

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets

• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures

• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external tax advisors

• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• CPA preferred but not required

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders

• Experience mentoring or leading accounting team members is a plus

Compensation & Details

• Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 annually

• Bonus: 10% performance bonus
