Hendrick Technical Solutions is currently seeking an accounting intern to work under the direction of the Controller. The successful individual will support the accounting team and accounting functions within the department. This internship will last 12 months.
Essential Functions:

Position Responsibilities:
- Perform internal control procedures and audits for fixed assets, petty cash, packing slips and inventory cycle counts
- Provide support for master data clean-up including vendor, customer and product records
- Assist with preparation for external audits
- Create and update accounting procedure documents
- Perform ERP system testing
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables with back-up coverage as needed
- Assist with various projects as assigned

Position Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year program pursuing an Accounting, Finance, or related degree
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Must be at least a sophomore or second year student in the degree program being pursued
- Must be a team player and have a high level of integrity
- Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule
- Most possess strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- Must possess the ability to effectively multitask, problem solve, and prioritize
- Must possess strong communication skill including written, oral, and analytical skills
- Must possess working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet creation
- Must possess the ability to self-direct
- Must possess the ability to work in fast-paced environment, effective time management.
This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
