The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Corporate Finance team. You will be aiding in the mechanics of scaling a SaaS business, by working in and improving upon the enterprise cash applications process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the accounting team with cash application activity
- Evaluate the process to ensure timely collections from our customer base
- Identify and recommend specific areas for process improvement and automation
- Review potential for leveraging AI to support business process scalability
- Participating in the reconciliation of Customer Accounts
- Customer outreach on accounts receivable balances
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Junior or Senior year preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Visualization)
- Strong analytical mindset with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with AI solutioning via tools such as Gemini, Claude
- Desire to learn about the SaaS business model and recurring revenue mechanics.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
