Job Summary

The Accounting Intern will be responsible for a range of general accounting tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of tasks to assist the Accounting and Payroll Department
• Print, sort, and track various accounting and payroll forms
• Prepare a wide arrangement of document types and conditions for
• Miscellaneous file review and sorting
• Miscellaneous scanning
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required, some college preferred
• Previous experience as a file clerk
• Ability to operate a computer (desktop & laptop)
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Accounting Intern in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Office-based. Monday – Friday during normal business hours.
