About the Role
The Accounting Intern helps Clicklease maintain accurate financial operations and reporting by supporting day-to-day accounting activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in accounting or finance who wants practical experience in a fast-paced fintech environment while learning from experienced professionals.
The Team
You’ll join a collaborative Finance and Accounting team focused on operational accuracy, process improvement, and supporting business growth. The team works closely across departments to ensure financial integrity and efficient business operations.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support preparation of financial reports and documentation
- Conduct financial data analysis and assist with financial modeling activities
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as assigned
What You Have
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for data organization or reporting
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Experience working with accounting software, financial systems, or related coursework
- Ability to analyze financial information with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience with financial analysis or financial modeling
- Experience working in fast-paced or deadline-driven environments
What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months
- Successfully supports recurring accounting and reconciliation tasks with accuracy and reliability
- Demonstrates proficiency with accounting systems, Excel workflows, and financial reporting processes
- Contributes effectively during month-end close activities and finance team projects
- Builds strong collaborative relationships across the Finance and Accounting team
