Accounting Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Staff Accounting Intern supports the accounting team with daily financial operations, month‑end activities, and special projects. This role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who want hands‑on experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain AP inbox and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Support month‑end close activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Clean up old Purchase orders.
• Perform data entry, financial analysis, and spreadsheet updates to support the accounting team.
• Assist with reconciliations.
• Assist with collecting data for the audits and other accounting duties as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
