SUNY Schenectady invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Accounting Instructor to join a collaborative, student-centered academic community within the School of Hotel, Culinary Arts, Tourism and Business. We seek an educator who is committed to excellent teaching and dedicated to preparing students for careers and continued education. Reporting to the Dean of Hotel, Culinary Arts, Tourism and Business, this position is responsible for teaching a full-time course load of business and accounting courses, providing advisement to accounting and business students, and working with four-year colleges to design and develop transfer and articulation agreements. Other responsibilities include assessment, course development, program review, and collaborating with faculty across divisions and as part of the college community. A full-time teaching load generally consists of 15-16 credit hours per semester. Faculty are expected to hold office hours, support recruitment and enrollment efforts, and engage in college committee work. Other duties may be assigned by the Dean. RESPONSIBILITIES:
