3-6 MONTHS - ONSITE POSITION - SHIFT - 8AM - 5PM.I.  Position Overview The Senior Accountant is responsible for working closely with the Finance team to ensure a smooth, timely month-end close process. This individual provides assistance with SOX compliance and is involved in the annual budgeting process.II.  Essential Functions•             Performs and assists with month-end and quarter-end closing accounting tasks including preparation/input of journal entries ensuring compliance with US GAAP.•             Ensures that reconciliations and supporting schedules and analysis are completed on a timely basis and in accordance with the monthly closing schedule.•             Prepares and maintains month-end closing shared folders.•             Preparation and assistance with month-end analytical review of actuals versus budget/forecast.•             Assist with budgeting and forecasting.•             Provides assistance with SOX compliance by ensuring internal controls are adhered to.•             Provides assistance to Sr. Manager Financial Operations and Accounting on quarter-end inventory close and various analyses.•             All other duties as assigned.III.  Position RequirementsEducation and Experience:•             Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.•             Minimum of four to six years of experience and solid understanding of GAAP. Experience in public accounting preferred.Knowledge/Skills Requirements: •             Ability to manage a wide range of finance-related responsibilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•             Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines and timelines.•             Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.•             Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance daily operations and project work in a fast-paced setting.•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Office Suite, and experience with general ledger systems.This position requires minimal travel; average travel for this position is 5% with some variation based upon the demands of the business imperatives.
