We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Recovery 1, a Waste Connections company, in Tacoma, WA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate financial records.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (In Office)
Pay Range: $27–$30 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Perform month-end close procedures
Post payments, maintain customer accounts, and process adjustments in the ERP system
Manage daily cash applications and cash management tasks
Maintain accurate accounts receivable aging
Process customer refunds
Manage pricing updates and contract rate maintenance
Generate daily reports, monthly invoices, and mid-month statements
Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable promptly and professionally
Process and review customer credit applications
Maintain organized and accurate AR documentation and filing systems
Support additional tasks as needed by the Corporate Accounts Receivable team
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred
Experience with A/R and general ledger integrated systems is a plus
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Self-motivated with a close attention to detail
Customer service experience is highly valued
