Accounting Clerk (Seasonal)

Accounting Clerk Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal Location: Hillsborough, NC Job Purpose We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to provide support to our Accounting department on a temporary basis. This is a part-time position and is expected to last 3-4 months. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Responsibilities

Data entry of invoices and other accounting record keeping Accounts Payable (AP) invoice posting Purchase Order (PO) analysis Support other accounting-related administrative tasks and projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous data entry experience required. Accounting experience is preferred but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Candidate will possess a team spirit attitude and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and math skills. Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision alongside of managing monthly workflow duties along with additional projects as necessary. Demonstrate substantial analytical skills – ability to troubleshoot problems, complete proper research and develop, analyze, and recommend solutions. Proven track record for excellent attendance and reliability. Acute attention to detail and PO analysis/troubleshooting.
