DEPARTMENT: ACCOUNTING
REPORTS TO: KIM PELLEGRIN, ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The responsibility of the Accounting Clerk is to maintain and process all accounts payable transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, code and enter all Firm invoices for Hilliard Law
- Review, code and enter all invoices for Hilliard Building
- Review, code and enter case cost invoices for mast tort cases for Hilliard Law
- Prepare case expense reports for Mass Tort cases
- Weekly postage entries (USPS/FEDEX)
- Vendor file maintenance for Hilliard Law and Hilliard Building
- Distribute and mail checks for Hilliard Law and Hilliard Building
- Back up for case cost invoices for Hilliard Law
- Back up for case expense report preparation for Single Event Cases
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
- Mac Proficient, including macOS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & MISCELLANEOUS:
- Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
- Ability to commute to and work out of the Corpus Christi office
- Ability to travel periodically to other firm offices and locations as required
