We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk with strong experience in QuickBooks to support day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Generate and send customer invoices; follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
- Experience in a small business or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with other accounting software or platforms.
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings.

- Back up for AR application
- Purchase order creation
- Allocations JE Backup
- Accruals JE Backup
- Assist with mthly BS reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with credit card cleanup
- Assist with budgeting process
