Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. The Accounting Clerk role at AMT is responsible for supporting the department with a variety of accounting and clerical tasks. It is essential for this role to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping, assistance with transactions, and maintaining organized financial documents.

Job Duties:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry and payment processing
• Maintain and update financial records, databases, and filing systems
• Assist with payroll processing and timesheet verification
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters
• Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and responding to internal inquiries

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical work preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
