Pay: $17/hour to start
Location: Bossier City, LA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Month-End Schedule: During the last week of each month, hours shift to approximately 5:30 AM–4:00 PM to assist with inventory counts at multiple store locations. Overtime is paid.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting functions and inventory reporting. This role involves high-volume data entry, assisting with tax deposits, maintaining accounting records, and traveling to store locations during month-end to compile inventory counts.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of QuickBooks, strong data entry skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling large amounts of information.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with preparing and processing tax deposits.
• Enter and maintain accounting information in QuickBooks.
• Reconcile and verify financial and inventory data.
• Compile inventory counts from multiple store locations during month-end.
• Travel to store locations to review and consolidate inventory reports.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in inventory and accounting records.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or data entry experience preferred.
• Experience preparing tax deposits is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications.
• Ability to travel to multiple store locations during month-end inventory.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
