The Accounting team has an opening for an Accounting Clerk IV in the Electronic Banking Department-Gift Card desk. This position is located in the National Services Center in Phoenix, AZ.
Main responsibilities:
- Two or more years accounting experience in a large organization with mainframe-based accounting
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with reconciliation of bank accounts
- Advanced level PC skills with knowledge of Windows and MS office
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Excels in a team environment
- Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Reconcile multiple Gift Card related balance sheet accounts on a weekly basis
- Reconcile gift card orders to payments and perform research on any discrepancies
- Collaborate with other teams, division personnel and 3rd parties to ensure accurate gift card activity
- Use ReconNet tool for reporting and matching
- Collaborate with customer support team to process gift card activations and devalues
- Post journal entries weekly
- Monitor payments for bulk gift card orders and review for approval
- Coordinate with teams to create process efficiencies.
- Responsible for coordinating and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
- Responsible for providing guidance to internal/external customers.
- Facilitate audits conducted by internal/external entities.
- Other duties as assigned.
