Full time position beginning July 1, 2026.

Responsible for performing a variety of financial activities including processing, recording, updating, and reconciling fiscal information; accounting support to other personnel; analyzing expenditures against budget, and assisting in other clerical functions as necessary.  

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assists in maintaining the financial accounting system including but not limited to budget transfers, journal entries, account reviews, proper account coding, etc. for multiple funds.

* Performs reconciliations of cash, procurement card, and ledger account balances on a monthly basis. 

* Monitors account balances and related financial activity for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate, related revenues are generated, expenses are within budget limits, and/or fiscal practices are followed.

*  Prepares monthly financial reports and others as needed.

*  Assists auditors for the purpose of providing required information for all audits.

*  Assists with Reconciling Food Service Management Company invoices to ensure accuracy with contract.  

*  Other duties as required by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*  Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business preferred.

*  Proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.

*  Strong clerical skills, including organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

*  Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.

*  Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

*  Proficient computer skills including, Microsoft Excel and Word.

*  Experience with CSIU Financial Information System preferred or other financial systems.

$26.95 per hour after a successful 90-day probationary period.

12-month position, 7.5 hours per day (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) not including a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.
