Job Summary:
An Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with daily accounting operations, including processing transactions, preparing checks, handling account inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
RequirementsRequirements:
- Process move-out checks and prepare resident refund letters.
- Review and process yellow envelopes, ensuring accounting documents are accurate, complete, and routed appropriately.
- Assist with check runs and reserve transfers.
- Create and enter receipts and charges into the accounting system.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned.
- Respond to homeowner and resident accounting inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior property management or accounting experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
