Legal Sea Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our Accounting & Finance team. This is a hybrid office position offering the opportunity to work with a collaborative corporate team while supporting restaurant operations throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Audit and reconcile daily restaurant sales reports.
- Review and process accounts payable invoices.
- Research and resolve vendor payment and invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly check runs and payment processing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accounting reconciliations and accrual schedules.
- Support restaurant management with accounting-related questions.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Restaurant or hospitality accounting experience is a plus.
